There's finally been a breakthrough in the weather, with a glorious weekend of sunshine for the spectacular Etape Caledonia on Sunday 16th May. We're now looking forward to a warm and sunny summer ... please! It's a lovely time to visit Pitlochry, so why not have a look at our lovely refurbished rooms and plan your next stay with us.
Headlining the summer season at Pitlochry Festival Theatre has been the hugely popular 'Kiss Me Kate' - part of the unique 'Stay Six Days, See Six Plays' repertoire programme, which runs until 16th October. Also showing is a hilarious Michael Frayn comedy, 'Noises Off', which follows the mishaps of a travelling theatre company as they attempt to put together a performance fit for the viewing public. Don't miss it!
The end of the month brings us the first Highland Games at Target Park, Blair Castle, Blair Atholl, on Sunday 30th May. This unrivalled spectacle includes tossing the caber, throwing the hammer, Highland dancing, piping and many other events. There are plenty of activities for children and refreshments available. We hope to see you there.
Best wishes, Liz

Etape Caledonia - Thrills in the Hills of Pitlochry
With the major British cycling event of the year almost upon us, Pitlochry is getting into the spirit with mounting enthusiasm, especially with good weather predicted for the big day - Sunday 16th May.
Entry tickets for the Etape Caledonia sold out faster than ever this year, with many cyclists booking ahead immediately after last year's race.
Another big attraction in Pitlochry over the coming weeks is the romantic, touching and hilariously funny Broadway musical, Kiss Me, Kate. With a classic Cole Porter score and a cast of brilliant actor-musicians, PFT`s flagship production for 2010 will provide unforgettable entertainment.
Why not take advantage of our Spring Breaks offers and enjoy our warm hospitality and excellent food. Hope to see you soon.
