The other day a guest asked me where the Corbett was and I had to confess that I didn't know what she meant. It turned out to the be big mountain that we look at every day - Ben Vrackie. Apparently, a Corbett is the next category down from a Munro, and has an altitude of between 2,500 and 3,000 feet. I then decided it was high time I climbed Ben Vrackie again and here is a photo from the top - not a beautiful Summer's day, but stunning nevertheless!The 360 degree view took in Pitlochry Golf Course, Pitlochry Hotels and also far reaching views of Loch Tummel and beyond to Glencoe.
The walk reminded me how much there is to do and see in the area and inspired me to dust off my golf clubs and blow up my bicycle tyres!
