Braemar Castle

Not far outside Braemar is Braemar Castle. Built as a grand hunting lodge on the banks of the River Dee in 1628 by the Earl of Mar, the castle has been the seat of the Chiefs of Clan Farquarson since the 1800’s. Full post here.
