With the onset of milder weather, gardens, hedgerows and hillsides all around Pitlochry are bursting into life with the sights and smells of spring. From yellow daffodils to violet, orange and white crocuses, from the myriad colours of primulas to the purple and white heathers, spring is making a colourful entrance.Pitlochry Festival Theatre will be celebrating flowers and all things horticultural with 2 events at the end of March. 'Behind the Bamboo Curtain' on Friday 26th March explores the historical importance of China in sourcing many of the beautful shrubs and flowers we enjoy in Scotland today, while a flower arranging workshop on Sunday 28th March shows you how to create a unique and beautiful display of spring blooms.
The theatre also has some family events lined up for Easter including a treasure hunt in the Explorers' Garden.
